Pizza

The textures and stylings of old, painted wall advertisements often capture my attention and imagination, and I am inspired to photograph them. The weathered brick, the decaying wood, the peeling layers of paint, the bold fonts, and the references to history. They are ephemera and will be gone some day, like everything. This Pizza advertisement from Madison, Wisconsin, is painted on decaying plywood. The MCO logo is not part of the composition.
