Geometric abstract art in blue and gold. The original tile work is on the outside of a building on Monroe Street in Madison, Wisconsin. There are three similar sections, weathered and worn, and each is about 3 feet by 5 feet. Curiously, each of the sections of predominantly blue tiles has just a few randomly placed yellow square tiles. This couldn't properly be called cubist art, but maybe cubical? It reminds me of my griddy compositions, and one in particular titled Aerial Boundaries. I cannot take the credit for the composition here (the randomly placed yellow tiles) but perhaps for the inspiration to capture it and produce an interpreted expression of it, before it is weathered away or torn down.
