Cap Motel

Weekend mornings, I often grab the camera and go out exploring. The morning I shot this old signage, after getting a hot coffee at Dunkies, I headed toward a pair of defunct, rusty, dilapidated motel signs on the edge of town. Madison, Wisconsin that is. I had driven past them a few days prior and had made a note to go back. It was overcast and drab most of the morning, but the sun broke through added some depth to this that I appreciated.

The sign is for the Capitol Motel.
