Air Mail

"Air Mail" is a macro photograph of vintage USPS Air Mail stamp or seal. I just loved this graphic and wanted to do something with it. Made using a 90mm lens with an extension tube and a tripod. Enhanced in three ways prior to printing, in color, texture, and perforated border. I think this dates from the 1940's.

The original stamp has a rough print job, unclean edges, and misaligned red and blue plates. I did a little realignment and fix-up, but not too much. Archival pigment print on cotton paper.
