Sunset in Rust

 This composition is busier than my usual work. I'm trying to just go with it. We (people) seem to be able to see, or to subconsciously impose, landscape scenery when looking at abstract paintings, or in this case, rust. And thus this becomes an urban sunset scene.

The source of this piece is a detail of the side of a rusty, heavily distressed dumpster at a recycling center. "Heavy Distression" or "Heavily Distressed" might be other good titles for this.
