Nude in Antique Brown Tones

For this print, I was going for a messy, distressed appearance to reflect the look of early photography methods like wet plate or palladium -- processes where photographers brushed  coated their emulsions on glass, paper, tin or pewter. There were often imperfections, especially in the early days, or when photographers were out in the field. Imperfections in the chemistry, in the application of it, in the processing, and also in the storage of the photographs where the aforementioned imperfections amplify over time. I tried to go with the flow and to not to over think it or over edit it (which can be hard for me).
