Cattails in Wind

 Abstracted. Painterly. And compositional symmetry juxtaposed with (the chaos of) lack of focus and perpetual movement.

It was pre-dawn and raining, and I left the house with a loose plan to look at puddles, raindrops, raindrops in puddles, leaves in puddles. So this was a(nother) lesson in staying open to the now, which was dark, drizzly, and windy. 

It was overcast and barely dawn. Shutter speed 1 or 2 seconds, somewhere in there. ISO 200. Hand-held camera. Shot in raw format and developed in Adobe Camera Raw.
