Solaris Series

This collection features works with solarization, the Sabattier Effect, Mackie Lines, and glowing corona. When I first saw Man Ray's (b. 1890 - d.1976) use of these techniques I was pretty captivated, and I experimented with the unpredictable techniques back in my darkroom days. The works here in the Solaris Series were "solarized" in my digital darkroom.  A model I work with said that I am the photographer that "makes her skin look like metal."
