I hope to go back someday.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis print results from a macro photograph of a French postage stamp from the 1940s. It features an etching with a touching scene by the artist André Spitz (1883-1977). It appears that it helped raise money to assist victims from the war. It's not my etching, just my photograph of it. I find the image and sentiment moving, informative, and wanted to share it. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI photographed it and made a larger print circa 2010, and it looks nice on this a card, too.
